Isaiah 58:10 says: Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day. (NLT)
The Food Ministry at Fellowship Church has been distributing food to families in need since 1995. Over 4,500 people were helped last year through this ministry.
The first and third Wednesday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, members of Fellowship give away boxes of food to those in need. A member of the Food Ministry Team offers prayer with those who attend.
Adults and teen church members volunteer to help the ministry. Fellowship Church purchases most of its food from the Bread of the Mighty Food Bank in Gainesville, Florida.
